Where are you right now?

Every parent arrives with a different level of urgency. Pick the situation that sounds most like yours and we'll point you to the right first step.

Take a breath. Whichever path you choose, you are in the right place, and there is a wise next step.

I just discovered my child watching porn

You are shocked, and that is understandable. Start with what to do tonight, and what to leave until tomorrow.

My child accidentally saw porn, or I'm worried they may have

Seeing it by accident is not the same as searching for it. Find out what happened before you decide how serious it is.

I want to protect my child before there is a crisis

What filters and accountability tools can do, what they cannot, and the one our founder recommends.

I don't have anyone to talk to about this

You were not meant to carry this alone. How to find a church that teaches the gospel and offers biblical counseling.

If your child may be in danger, act first

Some situations need help beyond a family conversation. If any of the following is true, please get help right away. Do not wait to finish reading.

  • An adult or much older child showed your child sexual material, asked for photos, or pressured them into anything sexual. Report it to the NCMEC CyberTipline (1-800-843-5678) and consider calling local law enforcement.
  • Someone is threatening to share images of your child (sometimes called sextortion). Do not pay or delete anything. Keep evidence, stop replying, and report it to the CyberTipline.
  • Your child has nude or sexual images of themselves or others. Do not forward, copy, or screenshot the images. Contact the CyberTipline or local law enforcement for guidance.
  • Your child seems hopeless or is talking about hurting themselves. In the U.S., call or text 988. In an emergency, call 911.
  • You suspect abuse. Call the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-422-4453.

Most cases are not emergencies. Most are frightening, embarrassing, and very fixable with patience, honesty, and grace. When you're ready, choose a path above.

Your child's struggle is not the end of the story.

A perfect filter cannot save your child, and a perfect parenting strategy does not exist. Our hope is in Christ, who meets sinners with mercy and does not let go of the ones he loves.
